Sylvester Housing Authority Backpack Giveaway

Sylvester Housing Authority (SHA) is conducting its annual backpack give away. In the past SHA has had a Back to School Bash which includes games, food, and information on community services. The Pandemic has put a hold on social gatherings but not on our desire to set our students up for success. The SHA is more than a housing authority we are a community. By providing free backpacks and schools supplies we are taking the stress out of back to school preparations. Children who live within the housing authority will receive a backpack full of supplies based on their grade in school. Supplies include items like paper, binders, pencils, erasers, pens, highlighters, USB drives, and crayons. We do not know what the 2020-2021 school year will look like, it certainly will have its own set of obstacles, but SHA is proud of the work it is doing to set children up for a successful school year.
